Norwood Commercial Office Space
Concept Spotlight: Beulah Road, Norwood. How do you design a high-performing commercial space that respects one of Adelaide's leafiest commercial addresses?
My unbuilt concept for this two-storey development in Norwood balances refined street presence with rigorous commercial feasibility.
Key Design Features:
The Palette: A highly tactile mix of off-form concrete, premium ironbark timber, and raw, random stone sourced from the historic Stonyfell quarry.
The Integration: Extensive architectural planting designed to soften the structure and seamlessly blend with the leafy Norwood streetscape.
The Function: Purpose-built layout providing off-street parking for two distinct, premium tenancies.
The Strategy: A meticulous exercise in planning, contemporary design, and commercial feasibility for a returning client.
Poised for development lodgement in the coming months, this project stands as a benchmark for modern, context-driven commercial architecture in South Australia.
